Country singer Jason Aldean just shared the sad news that his long-time friend and bodyguard Ryan “Rhino” Fleming, or “Rheen” as he is nicknamed, has passed away. We take a closer look at their friendship, as well as Fleming’s career and family.
Meet Ryan “Rheen” Fleming
Ryan S Fleming was Jason Aldean’s long term bodyguard and close friend. He had previously been a bouncer at a bar in Georgia when he was 18, and then began working for the Sheriff’s department.
He has been Aldean’s bodyguard for many years. Rheen even saved Aldean’s life during a shooting at the Las Vegas Route 91 concert back in 2017.
Fleming had previously had a health scare back in 2020 when he suffered two brain aneurysms while waiting to fly home from Oakland to Atlanta.
He was incredibly fond of his dog Poncho, who he lost just over two years ago, and was also close with his brother Travis Scott Fleming.
