NBA Youngboy promised fans a new drop on Friday (14 January 2022), but it’s now been delayed. The rapper has teased us with a tracklist instead, so check it out here.

NBA Youngboy has been silent on social media since April 2020 when he wiped his Instagram clean of posts, and his account is now completely non-existent.

That explains why it’s difficult to keep up with the Louisiana rapper’s career. Although, the latest updates can be found via a fan account, which is practically an official profile with 850k followers.

On Wednesday (12 January 2022), Youngboy – real name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden – revealed that Colors would arrive on Friday, 14 January.

Unfortunately, he did not deliver; the complete mixtape has been delayed until Friday, 21 January.

Thankfully, he released five tracks under the title “Colors Teasers” as compensation, so we forgive him.

There will be a total of 15 tracks and the teaser songs are now available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and Amazon Music.

  1. Bring The Hook
  2. Fish Scale
  3. Emo Rockstar
  4. Emo Love
  5. Foolish Figure

As per Kworb, Colors has already reached number ten on the US Apple Music Top Albums chart at the time of writing.

Fans are pumped for Friday

Perhaps knowing that the mixtape will be dropping next Friday will be the only thing helping fans endure the workweek.

Colors is already receiving waves of praise, with one fan simply commenting with a goat emoji.

What do you think? Is Colors his best work yet?
