How much are Governors Ball tickets 2022 and where can you get them?

The Governors Ball is confirmed to take place on 10 – 12 June 2022, with a stacked line-up. Now, the remaining question is: how much are the tickets and when will they be released?

The Governors Ball announced their June 2022 return earlier today (25 January), and it’s got fans torn over which festival to splash their cash.

Rolling Loud teased their NY dates with a cryptic photo one hour after Governors Ball line-up, and Bad Bunny revealed his World’s Hottest Stadium Tour just yesterday.

If you’re debating whether to go to the Governors Ball, here’s all the information you need, including ticket prices.

Hip hop, R&B, pop, rock – you name it, there’s going to be an act from every genre.

The NYC summer festival has scheduled Kid Cudi, Halsey, and J Cole as their headline acts, but their remaining performers are nothing less than impressive.

Taking place at CITI Field in Queens on 10 – 12 June, the Governors Ball has also promised popular global artists, including grime artist Skepta, and Australian DJ, Flume.

How much are Governors Ball 2022 tickets?

There are six different ticket types, starting from $129, up to over $2,399.

General admission

1-day GA tickets cost $129 plus fees, giving access to more than 20 artists on one day. 3-day tickets, however, allow fans to enjoy over 60 acts.

3-day tickets start at $279 for the early bird, $299 for advance, and $319 for regular purchase.

VIP admission

VIP ticket holders get fast-track entry in the festival, as well as access to all VIP viewing areas, including up-close prime viewing; shade seating; air-conditioned toilets; phone charging stations; and even massage services.

The viewing areas are only available to those aged 21+.

1-day VIP: $269

3-day VIP:

  • Early bird – $609
  • Advance – $659
  • Regular – $709

Platinum admission

For $2,399, Platinum ticket holders get all the VIP perks, plus additional benefits:

  • Viewing at the front of the stage directly in front of the artists
  • Access to the Platinum lounge, with a free bar,flushable toilets, and comfortable seating.
  • Free food and beverage at all vendors
  • Merch
  • Backstage shortcuts to stages to avoid crowds
  • Age 21+

Cabanas

Bookings for cabanas require email contact with the festival; the price is not available on the website, so prepare yourself for the grand total.

Cabanas will have the same benefits as Platinum entry, though the best highlights of this premium ticket is the unobstructed stage view and the exclusive tent suite for 25 VIP guests per day.

The guests are allowed to change each day, so you can invite 72 different people over the weekend!

Where to get presale tickets

Presale tickets are available now for Citi cardholders only. Visit the official Governors Ball website here, select your desired ticket, and access the presale with the first six digits of your CITI credit card or debit card.

The general sale will begin on Thursday, 27 January 2022 at 12pm ET.

Tickets can be refunded or rolled onto 2023 if the festival gets cancelled or rescheduled.
