What happened to Emani 22?
It was announced on social media today (Tuesday, 12 October) that R&B singer Emani 22 had died aged 22.
A statement from the artist’s family or team has yet to be released but friends and fellow artists who worked alongside Emani 22 have mourned her passing online.
The cause of death is also unknown at this time, although some have claimed the artist was the victim of a hit-and-run incident.
