HipHopDX reports that Biz had got his weight under control several years ago – as far back as 2014. He was on the way to losing 140 pounds, motivated by the negative consequences of inaction.
“I wanted to live,” Biz said in an interview with ABC News. “Since I have to be a diabetic, If I didn’t make the changes, it was going to make the diabetes worse. … They said I could lose my feet. They said I could lose body parts. A lot of things could happen.”
Following his recent stroke, Biz is allegedly conscious and able to communicate with his family. Biz has been in a rehabilitation facility and is, according to reports, in good hands.
