New album release explored
The much-anticipated and fairly long-awaited follow-up to 2015’s 25 is scheduled to arrive on 19 November 2021 by record label Columbia Records.
Ahead of the complete album release, Adele announced her new single Easy On Me, available on all streaming platforms and accompanied by an official music video.
As Adele and her ex-husband, charity CEO Simon Konecki, divorced in 2019 30 is inspired by the separation and includes discussions surrounding her motherhood and the scrutiny of fame.
While the English singer-songwriter is now 33 years old, the statement accompanying the release announcement reports that Adele was quite the opposite of where she had hoped to be upon starting the 30 album.
Comparing the album to the type of friend who appears during trying times with bottles of wine, good advice, comfort, impromptu trips out and surprise gifts of magazines and face masks, Adele confirmed:
“I’ve painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it”.
