In the lead up to the release of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, a lot of casting rumours and speculation buzzed online.
Would we see Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine? Tom Cruise as Iron Man?
It was exciting to contemplate what the Multiverse would throw our way and it’s nice to find out there are some surprises.
Nevertheless, the central cast – featuring the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen – was enough to attract audiences to theatres.
While they turn in terrific performances, some fans have found themselves curious about the lesser-known star who portrays America Chavez, a central character and MCU debutant.
With audiences wondering how tall she is, let’s acknowledge Xochitl Gomez’s height.

‘We saw the defiance of America Chavez in her’
Marvel reports that Victoria Alonso – president, physical and post production, visual effects and animation production at Marvel Studios – said the actress was the “best choice for the character”.
Diving into why, Victoria explained: “We were thrilled to have found someone who could embody the character with a fresh look at who America Chavez could be, and who could stand up in performance alongside the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong and Elizabeth Olsen.”
She added: “With Xochitl, there was a cheekiness about her. There was a spark in her eye. We saw the defiance of America Chavez in her.”
