The Reason I Jump, based on Naoki Higashida’s book of the same name, made its debut in cinemas across the UK today – Friday, 18 June. Now some people are curious to know where The Reason I Jump is streaming in the UK.

The Reason I Jump is available to watch in cinemas across the UK from today, Friday, 18 June. Its release was announced on Twitter by The Reason I Jump official account.

The documentary which has been described as “excellent and educational work” shares an insight into the lives of people with non-speaking autism.

Amid its release in the UK, some are curious to know where they can watch the new documentary.

There are a number of locations screening the documentary in London, including Greenwich Picturehouse, Arthouse Crouch End and Rio Cinema.

Elsewhere, Cineworld has listed the documentary as being available to watch in Basildon, Glasgow and Sheffield.

What is The Reason I Jump about?

The Reason I Jump is based on Naoki Higashida’s memoir The Reason I Jump: The Inner Voice Of A Thirteen-Year-Old Boy With Autism, which was published in 2007.

The documentary follows five young people from around the world as they share an insight into their experiences with autism.

Last year the film won the Audience Award for World Cinema Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival.

Where to watch The Reason I Jump online

As the award-winning film hits cinemas in England, the documentary isn’t currently available to stream online in the UK.

Although those living in America can watch the film on Netflix as it was added to the US site earlier this week.
