Where was The Manor movie filmed?
Much of the shooting for The Manor was carried out in and around California, specifically Los Angeles.
The majority of the filming was carried out at The Stimson House, 2421 South Figueroa Street in the West Adams district of Los Angeles. However, they only really use the exterior of the house in The Manor.
You may recognise the house from other films such as House II: The Second Story and 1989 horror movie After Midnight.

The Manor movie plot revealed
The first four Welcome To The Blumhouse films were released in October 2020. The most recent four films released this spooky season (2021) are Black As Night, Bingo Hell, Madres and The Manor. The films all focus on institutions, horror and phobias.
The Manor centres on Judith, aka Barbara Hershey, a retired ballerina who lives in a care home. The Golden Sun Manor isn’t all it seems to be when Judith starts to have visions of a creature every night. Doctors believe she has dementia.
She also becomes friends with some elderly people who encourage her to keep quiet about what she’s experiencing.
The film often makes you wonder whether what she’s seeing are visions or real supernatural circumstances at play. Why not watch and make a decision for yourself?
