Who is Ruby in American Horror Stories? After nine successful seasons of AHS, with a tenth in the making, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are bringing us American Horror Stories. After episodes 1 and 2 premiered on Thursday, 15 July, fans were surprised by newcomer Kaia Gerber, as Murder House’s newest member, Ruby.
American Horror Stories premieres on Hulu
The first two episodes of FX on Hulu’s American Horror Stories premiered this Thursday, 15 July.
After that, the horror anthology will follow a weekly release schedule.
Since American Horror Stories is an FX on Hulu original, the only way to watch it is on Hulu.

American Horror Stories is a spin-off of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s award-winning anthology series American Horror Story.
Instead of developing one story per season, as was the case with Murder House (2011), Freak Show (2014-15), and all other seasons of AHS, American Horror Stories features a different horror story in each episode.
That’s right! Quick bites of horror all set in your favourite spooky universe.
According to Decider, the first episode, entitled Rubber (wo)Man, follows a teenager and her dads as they move into an old home with a grim past.
The second episode, Rubber (wo)Man Part Two, will see Scarlett (played by Sierra McCormick) enter a twisted new romance, while Michael and Troy (actors Matt Bomer and Gavin Creel) are forced to confront their rocky relationship.
Get ready for those Murder House vibes!

Who is Ruby McDaniel from AHS?
Ruby appears on the second episode of American Horror Stories and is portrayed by actress Kaia Jordan Gerber.

In the second episode of the series, Scarlett finds herself a murder partner in one of the spirits, a ghost named Ruby.
Ruby begins a relationship with Scarlett, although she harbours a twisted past and homicidal tendencies.
After figuring out her parents sold her to an abusive man, she snuck into Murder House and killed herself, making her trapped in the house for eternity.
Now that Ruby is another permanent resident of the Murder House, she encourages Scarlett to become one as well, so they can be together forever.

Meet actress Kaia Gerber
Kaia Jordan Gerber was born on 3 September 2001 in Los Angeles, California.

The 19-year-old made her TV premiere in 2013’s Sister Cities, as 13-year-old Carolina, but Ruby is the actress’ first role in a big production.
Kaia Gerber is the daughter of Cindy Crawford and, like her famous mother, is a model herself.
The actress made her runway debut at the New York Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2018 Fashion Week, modelling with several other up-and-coming models including Julia Covert.
As well as starring in American Horror Stories’ first two episodes, Gerber will feature in the cast of American Horror Story’s tenth season, Double Feature.
