Malignant premiered in cinemas and on HBO Max yesterday (Friday, 10 September). The new horror-thriller follows Madison, a soon-to-be mother, as she experiences murderous visions she later discovers are real.

After the film was released, fans have been obsessed by the track Where Is My Mind, which is seen to symbolise Madison’s gruesome visions.

The song is a cover of the 1988 track of the same name by The Pixies, which over the years has been sampled and covered many times.

According to the cover’s profile on Genius, the song was released in 2018 and was initially created for the trailer for Netflix series The Innocents.
