University of Buffalo (UB) professor Carine Mardorossian and hospice doctor Christopher Kerr co-authored a book of which the documentary is based on.
The book, “Death Is But A Dream: Finding Hope and Meaning at Life’s End,” explores the end-of-life experiences from the perspective of patients and caregivers.
Kerr noticed that many of his hospice patients, when approaching the end of their lives, started to have dreams and visions of deceased loved ones visiting their bedside. The documentary will explore these revelations in the dying process.
