To celebrate the release of Disney’s latest motion picture, Cruella, Crocs have announced a limited edition shoe. Let’s take a look at the new design and find out when the Crocs will be released.
Crocs announce Disney Cruella Collection
On Friday, 28 May 2021, comfort shoe brand Crocs announced it was collaborating with Disney yet again on a pair of shoes. Crocs and Disney previously collaborated on a pair of Lightning McQueen-inspired Crocs, which have since sold out.
There are three Cruella de Vil-themed designs, each with their take on a classic Croc shape. The limited edition drop features the brand’s Classic Clog, Classic Platform Clog and Classic Bae Clog, a design with a 2.4-inch lift.
Two are in Cruella’s signature colours, black and red. The third is white with a graphic print design. Each pair of the Cruella Crocs comes adorned with fluffy black-and-white trim, like the furs Cruella de Vil wears in 101 Dalmatians and new film Cruella (2021).

How to buy the Cruella Crocs: Is there a confirmed release date?
No. As of yet, Crocs hasn’t confirmed a release date for the Cruella x Crocs collaboration.
On the Crocs website, the company states the collection is coming soon. But not all designs will be released at the same time. They will be available to purchase on the Crocs website exclusively.
The best way to stay up to date on the shoe’s release date is to follow Crocs on Instagram.

Crocs fans demand another Lightning McQueen drop
Although this latest Disney x Crocs collab is certainly getting the hype it deserves, it surely can’t compete with demand for the Lightning McQueen Crocs.
The Cars character made its Crocs debut as a children’s shoe but, due to popular demand, Crocs made a version for adults. There was even a petition to get the adult Lightning McQueen Crocs manufactured in 2018.
They became available to purchase in 2019, with another drop coming this year, on 27 April 2021.
After the official Crocs Twitter account posted about the Cruella collection, Twitter users commented about the need for more Lightning McQueen Crocs instead. One replied to the Cruella tweet: “What about the McQueen update???” Another added: “GIVE US MCQUEEN.”
