Who is Brandon Spink? With Fear Street Part Two: 1978 just out on Sunday, 9 July, we introduce you to newcomer actor Brandon Spink, who portrays young Will Goode in the second instalment of the trilogy.

Part Two of the trilogy drops on Netflix

Fans are loving Netflix’s Fear Street trilogy adaptation of horror legend R. L. Stine’s book of the same name.

The first movie, entitled Fear Street Part One: 1994, arrived on Netflix on 2 July 2021. The second film of the trilogy, Fear Street Part Two: 1978, dropped on Sunday, 9 July.

The trilogy will be rounded off with Fear Street Part 3: 1666 on Friday, 16 July.

Fear Street Part Two transports us back to the late 1970s and into the heyday of the slasher movies.

Bookended with the core Nineties-set story, this segment recounts the tale of the Camp Nightwing massacre, as relayed by C. Berman (Gillian Jacobs), the sole survivor of the slayings.

According to RogerErbert.com, Camp Nightwing, the setting of the movie’s killings, takes after cinematic predecessors such as Camp Crystal Lake (Friday The 13th), Camp Blackfoot (The Burning), and Camp Arawak (Sleepaway Camp), among others.

Fear Street Part Two is about teens – but not exactly for teens. Parents should think twice before letting their kids watch the scary movie.
