What is The Vault on Netflix?

The movie follows an incredibly bright engineering graduate who wants to steal a treasure from the vault inside the Bank Of Spain, one of the world’s most secure vaults.

The movie was originally produced by Paramount but has made its way onto Netflix and fans are loving the high stakes heist film.

The Vault cast includes The Good Doctor star Freddie Highmore as Thom, Maleficent actor Sam Riley as James, and Game Of Thrones’ Liam Cunningham as Walter.

Meet actor Astrid Berges-Frisbey

Astrid Berges-Frisbey is a Spanish-French actor born on 26 May 1986 in Barcelona, Spain, and is 35 years old.

Her mother is French-American and her father is Spanish. Due to her parents nationalities she speaks several languages, including French, Spanish, Italian, Catalan and English.

She is most well known for playing the role of Syrena the mermaid in Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Berges-Frisbey is also known for the role of Sofi in I Origins, as well as for The Mage in King Arthur, and Suzanne in The Sea Wall.

Before acting she moved to Paris to study osteopathy, but found that this was not the career she wanted to pursue. Instead she enrolled in drama school, and the rest is history.

Who does she play in The Vault?

Berges-Frisbey plays the role of Lorraine in The Vault. Her character can do pretty much anything, including cracking safes, face-to-face combat, zip lining across multiple buildings and shooting a gun.

Frisbey told Looper that the hardest thing about shooting this film was speaking in English all the time:

“It was exhausting for me to have to work on this English-speaking character that also speaks with a different accent that I have.”

We hope that they decide to make a sequel to The Vault, but in the meantime we will just have to binge watch the movie again.
