Woman with 800 cats would rather have 800 more than a man, and we get it

Despite already bursting at the seams with over 800 cats, a woman said she would rather have a further 800 than another man.

If dogs are man’s best friend then cats are the that judgy girl from high school that you’re somehow still friends with. They don’t fully trust you, and no matter how hard you try their hair seems to repel just about every DIY hack you could employ. But ignore all of that, because they’re cute!

Lynea Lattanzio has hundreds of cats, and she’s not stopping

Owning a cat is a different pet experience to those with dogs, even if your feline friend is just as likely to get the so-called zoomies.

Lynea Lattanzio puts the cat in crazy cat lazy with nearly 800 feline friends in her possession. Her story was recently shared by Ti kTok’s Great Big Story (@greatbigstory), which has gathered 4.6 million views and nearly 930k likes.

“I would rather have 800 cats than another man. I don’t need a man in my life,” Lynea told interviewers. “We have close to 800 adults and nearly 300 kittens.”

With more cats than most people have ever seen in their lifetime, you might wonder how Lynea ended up with over 4,000 paws demanding her attention. The answer is relatively simple in fact, she just loves animals!

Having saved over 28k cats in her lifetime, the ones Lynea keeps in her home are only a small subset of the population she has saved. Unfortunately, after one threw up in her ear during the night, she knew things had to change.

Lynea moved house and dedicated an entire 40k-foot property to their care, correctly dubbing it the “cat house.”

Lynea might be a time traveler because lots are ‘seeing my future’

In the comment section, hordes of TikTok users confessed to seeing their future. Seemingly, the American people are big fans of the crazy cat lady aesthetic.

“I keep coming back to this video. This is my future, this is my faith, I dont want anything else than 800 adult cats and 300 kittens. If not Ive failed. Ive put shame on my family name,” one person said.

Another wrote: “Now that is a life with a purpose and I aspire to do the same.”

“Got my first kittens from there when I was a kid, over 20 years ago! That was back when it was just in her house. For years when anyone asked what I wanted to be, I said the cat lady!” another fan revealed.
