Woman tells husband their guinea pig laid an egg in funny Easter prank�
A woman has gone viral on TikTok after playing an epic prank on her husband which he actually fell for.
The hilarious trick is one you can try on your partner at home too this Easter – but only if you have a pet guinea pig
Woman plays Easter prank on husband
“I thought it would be funny to tell my husband that the guinea pig laid an egg to see what he does,” the TikTok user wrote.
She then got a small chocolate Easter egg out of the packet and strategically put it inside their guinea pig’s cage.
The woman took some pictures of it and sent them to her husband, writing: “Omg!! Look what I just found in Jammies cage.”
He totally fell for the hilarious prank and instantly replied: “Omg wtf! Do guineas even lay eggs? That’s so cute.”
She told him they should keep the egg warm and found a packet of cotton wool on the bed when she got home.
Her husband had placed the egg inside the “warmest place in the house” – the cupboard where the hot water tank is.
“How long will he wait for it to hatch?” she giggled before asking TikTok users: “Should I say I found another one?”
‘Best laugh I’ve had in a while’
The video is cracking everyone up, with one person commenting: “This made me CACKLE.”
“I can’t believe he didn’t Google ‘what to do with a guinea pig egg’ and just believed you,” said another.
A third person added: “This is the funniest and purest thing I’ve seen in ages.”
“I laughed out loud when I saw the tub he put it in bless him,” someone else wrote.

Hilarious trick continues
In a second video, the TikTok user took the prank one step further and said she “thought it would be fun if it grew”.
She got a real egg out of the fridge and painted it white so it looked a bit like the same one from the original clip.
The woman put it in the cupboard where the other egg was staying warm and sent a photo to her husband once again.
“I literally just checked it. It’s loads bigger! Like loads. Is that even possible?” she exclaimed – and he still didn’t clock on.
“What…. That’s really weird,” he replied, adding: “Hang on…. That’s not possible… Eggs don’t grow. Well. Let’s see if it gets any bigger.”
“Think I need to go baby guinea pig shopping,” she joked, hoping to prank him once again.
