The patient claimed that she required corrective surgery after an unprompted marathon dentistry appointment.
Minnesota woman sues family dentist
Kathleen Wilson, a patient at Molldrem Family Dentistry in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, has filed a civil lawsuit against Dr. Kevin Molldrem – a dentist she claims left her emotionally and physically damaged when he performed over 30 procedures on her in one sitting.
According to reports, Wilson had decay on virtually every one of her teeth but instead of tackling the issue during multiple appointments, Molldrem is alleged to have attempted to cure the issue entirely during one visit.
The appointment in question is said to have taken place in July 2020 and supposedly saw Molldrem perform 20 fillings, eight dental crowns and four root canals in under six hours.
The Focus has reached out to Dr. Kevin Molldrem for a response to the claims.
Wilson is suing for $50,000
In retribution for the damage she suffered as a result of the alleged dentist appointment, Wilson is seeking at least $50,000 in compensation.
Dr. Avrum Goldstein, a senior Florida-based dentist, claimed that Molldrem’s alleged approach to tackling Wilson’s dental issues was “not humanely possible to achieve in an effective or constructive manner.

It was also suggested by Goldstein that the anesthetic used during the procedures was not correctly implemented, with the patient reportedly being provided with a dosage two times stronger than the recommended amount.
Wilson is said to have required multiple corrective treatments to restore the damage left by Molldrem’s efforts, at great expense.
At the time of writing, neither Dr. Molldrem nor Molldrem Family Dentistry has publically addressed the case.
