Woman saves intoxicated’ girl from creepy men thanks to states self-defense law

Late-night parties don’t always go according to your plan. But leaving the club with a stranger when you’re not in your senses is the worst idea ever. A woman has gone viral on TikTok for sharing her story of allegedly protecting an intoxicated girl from a gang of men.

The video aims to educate people about the self-defense law in California, should they find themselves in any risky situation like the one we take you through today.

TikTok user was at a party

Taylor Watson was at a party with a girl she had recently befriended. It was already late and the club would close in about 30 minutes when the TikTok user’s friend and another girl walked out seemingly intoxicated.

The TikTok user realized the girls had been inside only a short while and they couldn’t have gotten drunk so quickly – she suspected that their drinks were probably drugged. She was out watching a music gig when the girls went to the bar.

As Taylor didn’t know the drunk woman too well, she took it upon herself to find her house or contact her friends as she was not in her senses.

The intoxicated woman was leaning against the wall when some guys from the club approached her and the content creator claims they became agitated when she told them to stay away from the drunk lady.

Woman punches man for allegedly misbehaving

Taylor claims the gang alleged that her friend spoke to them while they were in the club and had agreed to join them for another party.

But she wasn’t one to buy into their story. So she tells her sober guy friend to watch the lady while she screams for security. But when she turns around, the men are ready to attack her friend.

She mustered all the courage and took a swing at the guy who was allegedly touching her intoxicated friend inappropriately. The man who was attacked calls the cops to report an assault on him when Taylor remembers that a third person is allowed to fight back to protect someone else other than themselves if the other person is in imminent danger and is incapacitated, which is true according to the Shouse California Law Group.

She told the clubgoers that she would tell the cops to run a blood test on her friend as she had a hunch the men had drugged her inside the club.

The creepy man and the rest of his gang left at once after she stated the law in favor of her action. The club’s owner was so impressed with Taylor’s action that she permanently included the TikTok user on the VIP list, so she doesn’t have to wait for a table ever again.
