Woman in awe as her Bentley knows when the traffic lights are going to change
A woman has gone viral on TikTok after discovering a crazy piece of technology on her new car, which is a Bentley.
She discovered that the vehicle knows when the traffic lights are about to turn green, and people are amazed in the comments.
Bentley knows when traffic lights will change
In the video, the woman zooms into a timer on the dashboard behind her steering wheel which is counting down from 23 to zero.
Next to the numbers is a red traffic light. When it gets to zero, the symbol disappears and the traffic lights turn green.
She screams in disbelief that the counter was perfectly in time and wrote in shock: “Bentley, what is this?”
“When you find out your new car can tell you when the light will change,” she added.
Feature is called ‘traffic light prediction’
The feature is called Green Traffic Light Prediction, Bentley reveals, and it uses the live cloud data from city infrastructure to provide you with a countdown to green light.
It also cleverly offers a speed recommendation to avoid having to stop on your approach to a red traffic light.
“This service uses the latest ‘swarm’ technology which taps into city infrastructure data to notify you of traffic light changes,” Bentley says.
They’re not the only car manufacturer to implement this technology either. Many Audi and Tesla models have a similar countdown too.
