The incident reportedly occurred a couple of days ago, when a group of friends decided to take a picture moments before the arrival of a train.
The woman and some friends were at Belementnik Park to capture the autumn landscape and railway tunnels. The viral video shows them standing too close to the track and posing collectively for the picture when the train passes them at a high speed.
The lady who was struck by the train was standing the closest to the track, with her hand stretched all the way, holding her thumbs up.

Neither the person taking the picture nor the woman posing behind was aware of the incoming train, and when it struck the latter’s hand, she retracted it in horror as her friend rushed to check on her.
She was reportedly taken to the hospital by her friends and released after being examined for minor injuries.
The dangers of taking photos on train tracks
Despite warnings about the dangers of taking photos on the train tracks or in its proximity, people continue to recklessly indulge in the life-threatening stunt.
A report from the United States National Safety Council claims 952 deaths were caused by railroad incidents in 2022, an 11% increase from 2021, as well as the highest since 2007. There were also a total of 6252 non-fatal injuries.
Owing to the high rate of fatalities on railway tracks, people believe the Turkish woman is “really lucky” to have survived the train hit.
“She’s blessed to keep her arm,” said one, and another user commented: “Lucky to be alive.”
“You’re risking your dear life all for social media likes. You just got another chance to live,” read one comment.
