What is Propitious Mango Ice Cream?

This specialty item comes from China, with content creators describing it as a hard white chocolate out layer with sorbet-like mango on the inside. The shape is instantly recognizable and has undoubtedly played a part in its popularity. 

By the look of videos online, the ice creams come in packs of three in either mango or peach. 

It does look like a beauty blender. It looks kinda fuzzy, right? said TikTok user @dzunglewis. Its like white chocolate and the mango ice cream is very mango-y. I feel like it went viral because it looks so real.

In her video which received over 5.5 million views and over 500k likes, Emilie (@emilie.rossignol.arts) said: It looks like a mango, and it smells like a mango. I think I like this one better than the peach. I prefer mango in general and it kinda tastes like a mango boba milk tea.

Where can you get it?

There are currently entire subreddits dedicated to tracking down the Propitious Mango Ice Cream, with many people also desperately writing comments on TikTok in the hopes of nabbing one. 

Currently, it looks like the ice cream is only available at Asian supermarkets, but it tends to differ greatly depending on your location. According to other hungry social media users, youre going to have to try a few places before you can buy them.
