When Pumpkin Spice should be starting at Starbucks in 2024
Summer is in full swing but people are already looking forward to colder days for one reason only… pumpkin spice at Starbucks!
The iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte returns every year to mark the start of fall, but when will it be starting in the US in 2024?
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice 2024
As always, Starbucks is keeping the fall menu release date a secret, but based on last year, we can expect it to arrive on Thursday, August 22.
The fall menu launched on August 24 last year, so we can assume it will start on the fourth Thursday in August again. That means you only have a little more than a month to wait until you can finally get your pumpkin spice fix!
October is usually considered the month of pumpkins, cinnamon and all things fall, but Starbucks always releases the iconic drink in August and it stays on the menu right up until November 1 when the holiday beverages arrive.
It always includes the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte, which combines coffee with a pumpkin flavour sauce and steamed milk. The drink is topped with whipped cream and a spice blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves, bringing all the flavors of fall.
Last year’s Fall Menu drinks
Alongside the Pumpkin Spice Latte, last year’s fall menu featured two new beverages, the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte.
The Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso combines espresso with notes of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar, shaken together and topped with oatmilk.
If you prefer pumpkin, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte blends black tea with cinnamon, other warming spices and milk, topped with a sweet pumpkin cream cold foam.
Two old favorites returned too, including the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew which is sweetened with a touch of vanilla and topped with pumpkin spice cream foam.
The Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato is a popular one too, bringing flavors of apple, cinnamon, oats and brown sugar with creamy oatmilk and spiced-apple drizzle.
All the yummy fall food options
The fall menu always brings loads of scrumptious sweet treats too. Last year’s options included a Baked Apple Croissant, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, and Owl Cake Pop.
There’s no news on the 2024 menu just yet, but some rumors are likely to surface online in the coming weeks.
Will the same food and drinks be returning? Or will the coffee chain launch some new fall delights? We’ll have to wait and see.
