The ‘Invalid Parameters’ message pops up in a grey box at the top of the screen when you’re doing something on the app.
It can appear at any time, such as when you’re scrolling down the For You Page, looking at someone’s profile or trying to create an account.
The message has been appearing for years and often breaks users’ app, causing certain features to not work properly.
For example, after seeing the message users may not be able to watch TikTok videos, like them or log into the app.

As explained by ScreenRant, ‘Invalid Parameters’ is “the app’s way of telling the user that it doesnt understand the command given”.
However, that doesn’t mean you’ve done anything wrong. The message appears due to a bug within the site.
TikTok is malfunctioning and that’s causing the error message to show up as platform cannot understand the action you’re trying to perform.
