What does OMS mean in texting?
OMS stands for “On My Soul”, an expression used to convey how much something means to you.
It’s almost like swearing on your life, but more casually. For instance, you can say: “If you don’t quit arguing right now, that’s OMS.” Or, “OMS, I’ll bring justice to the issue.”
“I don’t care about you, OMS”, to express your disappointment in someone.
A few people on TikTok have noted that they only use lesser-known slang when they want to let others know that they aren’t kidding about something and they truly mean it.
“When he keeps trying me I’m forced to say OMS after everything so he knows I’m for real,” explained one user.
OMS also stands for “Oh My Swag” and “Oh My Satan”, used in contexts similar to above.
