Instagram’s theme is blue, with the bottom bar appearing in black. The only feature that looks the same as today’s app is the ‘Home’ button, which takes you to your feed and appears in the bottom left-hand corner.
When the TikTok user clicks on the profile tab, you can see how people’s accounts used to appear, with the profile picture in a square on the left. The ‘Posts’, ‘Following’ and ‘Followers’ tabs are next to it, which are still there in 2024.

Instagram launched in 2010
Instagram was originally launched for iOS inOctober 2010by its founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger.
It rapidly grew in popularity, gaining one million registered users in two months, 10 million in a year, and one billion by June 2018.
In April 2012, Facebook Inc. bought Instagram for $1 billion and an Android version was released in the same month.
Facebook has already launched six years prior, in February 2004, founded byMark Zuckerberg and fellow Harvard students.
However, the first social media site was actually Six Degrees, a 1997 platform that let users create profiles make friends with other users.
After that, LinkedIn and MySpace launched in 2003, but it was Facebook that really changed the social media world forever.
