Update on Red Bull’s rumored Winter Edition 2024 as flavor appears to change name
More rumors are swirling online about Redbull’s 2024 Winter Edition flavor, and it seems to have changed name.
The energy drink always releases a limited edition can for summer and winter in a flavor that’s never been seen before.
Red Bull’s rumored Winter Edition 2024
This year’s Red Bull Winter Edition is rumored to be called Iced Vanilla Berry, a sweet twist on the brand’s usual fruity releases.
A photo of the speculated drink was shared by food Instagram account UK Snack Attack, which shows a baby blue can.
“YES FOLKS! Another new Red Bull is coming! Just as The Pink One is released, we get hints of the next Winter Edition!” they wrote.
No one knows what the drink will taste like yet, but it will presumably be a combination of vanilla and mixed berries.
We could see hints of strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, cranberry and raspberry in the new Winter Edition Red Bull.
Based on past Winter Editions, it’s speculated to launch in the US and Europe in November 2024 and be available until April 2025.
Red Bull Winter Edition appears to change name
Earlier this year, the Winter Edition 2024 was rumored to be something different, a flavor called Iced Gummy Bear.
A picture of the can was first leaked in a Red Bull Reddit thread in March, showing the same light blue can with the Winter Edition logo.
So, has the Winter Edition flavor changed? Well, rumors online say it’s exactly the same flavor with a new name.
“It is the SAME exact flavor with a different name my friend. Red Bull had official documents with the Iced Gummy Bear name and identical flavor description,” one person wrote on Reddit.
Another added: “Yeah he said both names and that it was being called Gummy Bear in other countries.”
If that’s true, the new name certainly gives us more insight into what the “Gummy Bear” flavor will actually taste like.
The Focus has reached out to Red Bull for comment.
The rumors come as five new limited-edition Mountain Dew flavors just launched for the summer that you can try right now.
Past Red Bull Winter Edition flavors
The Winter Edition release always evokes the classic tastes of winter, with warm spices and fruity notes.
2023’s winter Red Bull was Spiced Pear, described as an energy drink with the taste of pear and cinnamon.
Before that was Fig Apple, with the delicious flavour of�fig and apple, complemented by a touch of winter notes.
In 2021, the Winter Edition Red Bull was Pomegranate, bringing hearty notes of�pomegranate, almonds, and warm spices.
This is the first time Red Bull has added vanilla to their winter launch. We’ll have to wait and see how it goes down!
