Friends get missed calls from each other

In the viral video, the TikTok user called Maddie explains that she’s “freaked out” because she woke up to a text message from a friend asking if she was good at 3:20 am.

She replied “Lmao I’m so confused” and then realised that she also had a missed call from the friend, called Sydney, at exactly the same time.

Maddie thought she was just drunk and passed it off as nothing, but things got really strange when the friend revealed she had a missed call too.

“I got a missed call from you last night at like 1:30am lol idk,” she wrote confusedly. “Maybe a butt dial in the middle of the night?”

The TikTok user explained that they are in different timezones and she’s two hours ahead, so both calls occurred at exactly the same time.

Strange calls leave creepy voicemails

Things get even creepier when Sydney explains that the call left a “rumbly” voicemail of around five seconds and says: “I was worried you were getting kidnapped.”

She even sent her a screenshot of her call log to prove that Maddie really did call her at 1:30am, but she was asleep so can’t have called.

“I also got a voicemail from her that was five seconds long,” the TikTok user explained before playing a blank message with the transcription “Hello” attached.

“So we both got a call from each other at the same time and we both had a voicemail from each other at the time time but we never called each other,” she said.

“I was asleep… what is going on?”

‘I can never sleep again’

In the comments, people are really creeped out by the whole thing.

One person wrote: “This scared me more than Insidious.”

“The scariest part is this happened at 3am,” said another.

A third person added: “Temporary dimension slip.”

“I can never sleep again,” someone else said.

Some think it must be a spoof call, which is when scammers change their caller ID to disguise their identity from the person they arecalling.

However, the truth is a mystery…
