Two cups of Matcha a day helps prevent dementia, neuroscientist says
Maintaining your brain health is essential to avoid critical diseases in old age and a neuroscientist says, switching your morning coffee with a healthier beverage can prevent dementia.
Millions of people are affected by dementia globally every year. While there is no cure for the condition, tweaking your lifestyle and dietary choices is believed to prevent it or reduce the symptoms. If you still prefer coffee as your morning drink, stop making these three mistakes that hurt your brain.

Healthy beverage prevents dementia, neuroscientist says
Based on evidence from recent research out of Japan, neuroscientist Dr. Robert Love recommends drinking two cups of Matcha every day to reduce symptoms of dementia.
In one of his recent videos, he claims that green tea is great for your brain and studies show that it increases alertness, relieves digestive symptoms, and headaches, and promotes weight loss.
Quoting the facts from the Japanese study he says: “Those who drink two cups of green tea per day have approximately 43% reduction in their symptoms of dementia.”

He says Matcha – green tea powder prepared by stone-grinding shade-grown green tea leaves into a fine powder – is “better for your brain.”
In a different video detailing the benefits of Matcha, Dr. Robert calls it green tea on steroids, which is ten times richer in antioxidants and great for your brain health.
For overall health benefits, he recommends taking green tea supplements if you’re a huge fan of tea. They are available in capsules with the same amount of active ingredients as an average cup of green tea.
Recipe for the ‘healthiest brain drink’
You can add a few more ingredients to your Matcha to make it healthier, as suggested by the neuroscientist. It’s tastier, too. Here’s everything he includes in the “healthiest brain drink.”
- One tablespoon of high-quality Matcha
- 16 ounces of fluoride-free water
- Few magnesium drops
- 1 tablespoon of MCT oil
- 3 to 5 drops of Monk Fruit sugar for sweetness
Blend all the ingredients and you’re good to go! He recommends having this on an empty stomach in the morning.
