Twelve-year-old weightlifter squats 113kg at Nationals, and thats not his most impressive lift

The name Jackson Bo Jensen is one that weightlifting fans should keep an eye on over the next few years.

Thats according to Rising Lifters on Instagram who recently highlighted the incredible achievements of the up-and-comer who holds an astonishing 42 American powerlifting records and 72 state records at the age of just 12.

Jackson Bo Jensen is breaking records

Dubbed the Worlds Strongest Kid, Jackson Bo Jensen has been setting the world of weightlifting alight in recent years and has been breaking records left, right and center.

In 2023, Jensen broke all of the -75kg Youth World Records at the USAPL Youth Nationals, with him lifting a total of 300.5kg (662 lbs) across the various lifts, an all-time record in the under 12s category.

  • Bench | 58kg (128 lbs)
  • Deadlift | 129kg (285 lbs)

Jensen has previously appeared on the Steve Harvey Show where he performed a truck pull, which he found very easy according to his father, Joe Jensen, and in October 2021, Bo was featured in a piece by Sky News Australia that saw him pull two Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks weighing more than 10,000 pounds (4,536kg).

Upon seeing Rising Lifters recent post on Jackson Bo Jensen, fans of the sport have been left willing on the young weightlifter.

One Instagram user commented: What a legend =O
