Hot priest is spreading the word of God with dashing looks and viral breakdancing videos

If you need a reason to convert to Catholicism then look no further than TikTok’s breakdancing “hot priest” Father David Michael Moses.

Religion is, and always has been a very touchy subject. Almost everyone has an opinion on religions ranging from Christianity to the mystifying slang of the Mormon Church, and while the world has evolved past the days of the Crusades and the separation of Church and state, religion still factors into most areas of everyday life.

Father David Michael Moses has more followers than you

Father David Michael Moses (@FatherDavidMichael) is a 30-year-old Catholic priest with over 181k followers on TikTok alone.

As you might imagine, most of Father David’s content explores the topic of religion, though he’s not afraid to jump on a trend or two.

Back in January, in a video that has since garnered 5.3 million views and over 500k likes, Father David took part in the “I’m an X” trend which sees TikTok users make jokes about their community, profession, or personality traits. Of course, his was “I’m a Catholic priest.”

“I’m a Catholic priest, of course, I always ask if it comes in black,” he joked. “I’m a Catholic priest, of course, I’ll hear your confession at the airport.”

The priest’s most successful TikTok yet came earlier this week when he joked about “breaking down” a Bible verse. Rather than literally pick it apart, Father David dropped to the floor to break dance with a scary amount of skill.

Some even claim they are going to convert

While fan enthusiasm doesn’t do much to back the word of God, it does highlight the innate draw of another higher power, a good jawline. Suffice to say, the internet Is suddenly very enthusiastic about Catholicism.

“Thank you for the information father,” one person wrote alongside a winky emoji, as another simply said, “Yes, father” alongside similarly cheeky emojis.

“Suddenly feeling the divine urge to convert to the Catholic church. Anyone else?” another person wrote, which received countless likes.

Other people were simply shocked to learn that the Clerical collar does not go all the way around, as one person put it: “IT’S NOT GO ALL THE WAY AROUND?!!! I THOUGHT THAT THING WAS MADE OF RUBBER OR SOMETHING!”
