@mercy_festus, who has over 500,000 followers on TikTok, has gained over five million views thanks to her husbands unfazed reaction after he let the bathroom fill with grime.
Its a reaction that some say left them with boiling blood when he didnt show appreciation after she caved and cleaned the bathroom for the first time in months.�
The wife refused to clean for two months
I didnt clean the bathroom for two months to see if my husband would clean it/notice it, Mercy wrote on-screen.
The wife filmed herself pulling away the bathmat inside of the tub, showing layers of grime left underneath.
She showed a similar amount of dirt built up around the toilet seat while the bin was overflowing with trash. The counters were filled with products and yellow markings around the taps and inside of the sink.
Her husbands electric toothbrush had grime around the bottom and his clothes were sprawled across the floor.
Essentially, it was a mess. After two months without touching it, however, Mercy decided to clean it. She removed the towels and placed them in the wash before taking down the shower curtain. With an electric cleaning brush, she got to work scrubbing at the bath grime.
Then, she cleaned the toilet with a toothbrush and got at those pesky marks on the sink. Finally, she mopped the floor and wiped down the sides of the bath.�
The husband didnt even notice
Babe, come look at the bathroom, Mercy called to her husband.
What is it? Its different. Is it different, he asked when entering the bathroom. After inspecting it closer, he asked: What about the bathroom?
I mean, you cleaned up the mess on the sink, all your makeup and face stuff, he said, claiming the mess was hers. Looks like it did this morning.
I mean it looks the same, you just picked up your stuff, he claimed.

After going viral, the wifes test against her husband was met with disbelief online, with many criticizing both the husbands reaction and lack of cleaning in those months.
