This year’s Emmys Award gift bag worth up to $10k includes a safari trip in Africa

The annual awards season is well underway which sees stars of the film and TV world earning recognition for their work over the past year. But as well as competing for a shiny golden trophy, the top nominees also receive gift bags at the various ceremonies that contain thousands of dollars worth of goodies.
The contents of the 2024 Emmys gift bag
Curated by Backstage Creations, a celebrity marketing company founded in 2000 by Karen Wood, the 2024 Emmys Gifting Suite includes items such as luxury beauty products, fancy snacks and exclusive travel opportunities and is worth an estimated $10,000 according to Hello.
Stars hoping to give their complexion some much-needed love over the busy awards season will appreciate the selection of beauty products from MORITEK and Purdori Skincare while actors who find themselves traveling a lot are sure to find a use for the Ricardo Beverly Hills Montecito 2.0 Hardside Luggage which retails at over $500 and a faux fur PETA-award-winning jacket by SpiritHoods which is priced at $319.
Also included in the goodie selection are Wonder Juice health juices, Crumbl cookies, Fluora LED houseplant priced at almost $300, Crane stationery, an everlasting candle, Deborah Roberts latest book, lip products from K-beauty brand Peripera and a $990 gift bag from Miracle of the Sea which features a range of their patented products.
Arguably the most notable inclusion in the Emmy Awards’ gifting range is a selection of travel opportunities, with destinations such as a villa in Panama, the Museum Hotel Cappadocia in Turkey – which has been named one of the top 50 hotels in the world and features rooms set within caves – and an African safari.
How it compares to the Oscars and the Golden Globes
While the Emmys’ gifting range may seem opulent to us ordinary folk, the TV awards goodie bag is actually on the cheaper side when compared with what nominees receive at the Oscars and the Golden Globes.
In 2023, the Oscars gift bags were assembled by Distinctive Assets and were estimated to cost upwards of $100,000 and even included a plot of land in Australia.
Only given to those in the top acting and directing categories, the Academy Awards gift range also included travel opportunities, with trips to a woodland escape in Ottawa, Canada and a lighthouse retreat on a volcanic island off the coast of Italy on offer.
The gift range also featured $25,000 worth of home renovation fees courtesy of Maison Construction as well as $41,000 worth of cosmetic treatments.
Meanwhile, the 2024 Golden Globes gift bag had an estimated value of $500,000.
Curated by the Robb Report, some of the more notable items include emerald earrings worth $69,000, $4,000 worth of skincare products, a tattoo parlor session, $545 worth of Caviar Russe and numerous travel opportunities including trips to France, Indonesia, Ireland, and New Zealand.
However, it should be noted that certain items were limited in number and not given to every nominee.
The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards take place on the evening of Monday, January 15, 2024, and will be broadcast in the US on Fox.
