The Shamrock Shake and McFlurry make triumphant return to McDonalds ahead of St Patricks Day
In celebration of 2024s St Patricks Day, McDonalds is set to bring back the Shamrock Shake and McFlurry earlier than ever before.�
Seasonal items at McDonalds are arguably far superior to its regular menu. Each year, customers eagerly await the arrival of food favorites like Boo Buckets, the Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry, and the various festive Christmas items.�
Monday is looking green
After speaking to a McDonalds employee for confirmation, the popular Instagram page Snackolator (@snackolator) broke the tremendous news on Wednesday.
The Shamrock Shake and McFlurry Return to McDonald’s on Monday! (February 5th), they said. I think this might be the earliest that Shamrock Season has started, but I am all for it as these are two of the best seasonal releases from McDonald’s! A McDonald’s employee confirmed the date which is great because we are only a few days away!
In earlier years, McDonalds had relaunched the shakes later in February and closer to St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.
Snackolator added: Which one are you choosing? I love both, but the McFlurry adds OREOs which makes it my go to… but that Shamrock Shake is legendary.
The Shamrock Shake, which was introduced by a Maccies manager in 1970, is comprised of vanilla soft-serve ice cream, artificially flavored minty green syrup, and whipped topping. The McFlurry is made pretty much the same but with blended Oreo mixed in.��
Shockingly, despite being created over 50 years ago, the Shamrock Shake was only introduced nationwide back in 2012! Since then, its become a staple that customers look forward to each year.�

Many of the companys loyal customers took to the comments in celebration, with most of them shocked at the early launch date.
One person said: YAYYYYY CANT WAIT.
Yassssss thats next weeeeeeeek thats incredible, another person chirped, as a third confessed, I wish this shake was on the menu permanently.
