Subway is bringing back a footlong favorite that’s ‘to die for’ – ‘It makes me yearn’
After months of “incredible demand” from customers across the nation, Subway has relaunched its footlong cookie which was originally part of the Subway Sidekicks range.
Despite some concerns over the freshness of their produce, Subway is one of the most popular fast-food brands, with over 37,000 stores worldwide. It’s been a busy year for the sandwich shop so far having earlier launched their acclaimed sauces in popular grocery store chains. Now it seems there is more great news on the horizon.

The Subway footlong cookie is back, baby
At the start of the year, Subway launched its Sidekick selection which included a footlong cookie, churro, and pretzel. Though reviews were skewed negatively at the time, the cookie was, by far, the standout footlong choice.
News of the cookie’s triumphant return was broken on Wednesday when the sandwich shop detailed how a recent survey spurred the decision. According to their own research, 70% of respondents said a Subway footlong cookie would improve their day, with 75% of millennials and 77% of Gen Z pleased with the news.
“The Footlong Cookie has delighted millions of Americans since their first bites in January, sparking unprecedented demand over the last several months,” saidPaul Fabre, Senior Vice President of Culinary and Innovation at Subway. “Subway worked diligently to rush additional Footlong Cookie supply to satisfy cookie cravings at a great value and serve up a footlong dose of happiness this summer.”

People seem pleased by the news on social media, as one person penned: “Good morning Patriots!
Have a Great Day! PSA: Footlong Chocolate Chip Cookies Are Back At Subway. Nation Wide! Enjoy.”
“The footlong Subway cookie looks to die for,” another person said, while a third suggested, “BREAKING NEWS! THIS JUST IN!& THE FOOTLONG COOKIE IS BACK AT @SUBWAY!!!!!!!”
It’s a good month to be a cookie lover
If you’re reading this from the UK, then you’ll be happy to learn that the footlong Subway cookie could be heading to your shores in the near future.
When approached for comment, Subway told The Focus: As part of Subways transformation journey, the brand is always testing new ingredients and menu items to deliver better food and a better guest experience.
