Starbucks releases Year of Dragon collection to welcome 2024

Several TikTok users have posted pictures and videos of the Year of Dragon collection by Starbucks ahead of 2024. There is a variety of items under the Dragon merch collection that isn’t available online, at the time of writing.

  • Dragon mugs – The medium-sized white mugs shaped like a dragon can be easily confused for a toy. While the head forms the top of the mug, the cup resembles the dragon’s body. Some mugs resembling the regular ones have a red or white body with different-colored dragons printed on them.
  • Dragon tumblers and reusable cups – There are several designs of tumblers with dragon prints. A few of them feature white flying dragons on a magenta or pink body, while the reusable cups also feature a different version of the mythical creature printed below the Starbucks logo.
  • Dragon Barista soft toy and keychains – The adorable Dragon Barista comes with gold holographic wings and it can either be bought as a toy or keychain – a mini version of the same.
  • Year of the Dragon 2024 gift cards – Starbucks also has the Year of the Dragon 2024 gift cards you can present to your friends and family for the new year.

There are more items from the collection that appear to be available in select stores. You can check with your local Starbucks using the store locator to find out if the Dragon merch is available in the outlet near you.

Dragon mugs and tumblers have matching tops

The reusable Dragon cups and tumblers have matching straw stoppers shaped like cute dragons as well. However, one TikTok user claims the tops cannot be purchased individually – they are only available with the tumblers and cups.

The content creator claimed she was able to get her hands on the Dragon collection at their local Target, but we suggest checking with the store beforehand if you’re planning to make a stop.

Users are thrilled upon learning about the rumored availability of the items.

“Im so excited to get these. Im headed to Target tomorrow,” said one.

Another added: “I’m not the Year of Dragon, but I need these.”

“OMG, these are precious. I need them ASAP,” wrote one, while another said: “Starbucks, take my money. The Dragon cups are mine.”
