Starbucks release new recycled glass cup with ‘comfy’ triangle grip and orange lid
Starbucks is making healdines with its new sustainability core collection and the return of the triangle glass cold cup with a different-colored top is sending fans wild.
There are various items in the coffee chain’s 2024 collection. Still, the transparent tumbler has caught the most attention owing to its design which makes the cup easy to hold, and the orange lid and matching straw that stand different from last year.
Starbucks’ new triangle glass cold cup is orange in 2024
Unlike the triangle cup from last year, the latest version has an orange top and straw, to keep in theme with the rest of the recycled edition.
The cold cup with a triangle bottom went viral last year when it was first launched and sold out quickly, prompting fans to rush to the stores to grab one before the new collection goes out of stock.
The other items in the new recycled line include a plastic tumbler, a mug, and a stainless steel cup.
Going by the comments shared on TikTok, the limited-edition items are currently available in the Starbucks stores in the United States and Canada. But do check with your local store if you’re planning to make the stop.
The 16 fl oz cup is only suitable for hand wash and it should never be used to microwave. The eco-friendly item is made with “100% post-consumer recycled glass; a 100% recycled plastic lid including 25% post-consumer recycled plastic; and a 50% recycled plastic straw including 12.5% post-consumer recycled plastic.”
TikTok users are obsessed with the recycled tumbler
Starbucks hasn’t officially announced the release of the triangle cold cup with the rest of the recycled collection, thus the TikTok videos featuring the rare item have taken users by surprise as they can’t wait to get their hands on it.
One user said: “I didn’t get the first one last year. I need this so bad!,”
“Just got mine in NYC! It’s so cute! I didn’t notice the bottom of the glass cup is tapered in for easier grasp at the bottom,” added another.
“I have the last glass one and I want this one also,” said a third user obsessed with the orange recycled tumbler.
