Starbucks customers share their top tips for making new lavender lemonade even better
Fans of Starbucks have come up with a sneaky added extra for the coffee house’s new Spring lavender lemonade that was announced earlier this week.
Starbucks is not taking its foot off the coffee pedal after earlier launching lavender drinks�and�olive oil beverages for their loyal US customers.
How do you make the lavender lemonade better?
On Tuesday, Starbucks unveiled its upcoming Spring line that includes notably Mother’s Day gifts, a new drink, and a new location-specific mug collection. Amongst the shiny new merchandise, they also announced a new lavender lemonade which uses the secretive lavender powder from February’s matcha promotion.
The beverage promised subtle floral notes and looked to be a bright vibrant red despite lavender being iconically purple. It’s also a relatively simple drink by Starbucks standards, comprised of just lemonade and lavender powder.
In a Reddit thread for coffee lovers, one Starbucks manager offered a juicy suggestion for upping the summer feeling of your lavender lemonade.
“Try it blended with added vanilla and it’s a perfect summer treat,” they wrote.
Customers seem keen to try the concoction, as one person penned: “Ill absolutely have to try this!! thanks for the recommendation!”
“Feels like a missed opportunity for Starbucks to not launch this as an official drink. So easy and pretty yummy! Im thinking they didnt want to advertise it as it looks too similar to a passion tea lemonade,” another said, while a third added, “Ive been so addicted to that drink ever since we got order of lavender.”

Alongside the refreshing new drink, Starbucks also revealed a line of Mother’s Day gifts including several mugs and tumblers in an “exotic” flower design.
