Starbucks confirm their St Patricks Day offers including BOGO and a sweet Matcha surprise

Starbucks Coffee is launching a new matcha frappuccino alongside an exclusive one-day offer to celebrate the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day.�

March 17 marks the annual St. Patricks Day as a holiday full of fun times and hard partying. Naturally, some of the USs biggest fast food brands jump at the chance to rake in the cash with limited edition seasonal items.��

In keeping with the overall green theme of the Irish holiday, Starbucks is releasing a new Luck of the Matcha Cr�me Frappuccino on March 12.

Said to be inspired by the pot o gold/at the end of the/rainbow, the drink is described as a sweet and creamy matcha, caramel syrup, milk, and ice blended together and topped with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and a crunchy caramel-sugar topping.�

The drink is available at participating locations for a limited time and while stocks last. 

On March 14 only, Starbucks is also offering their loyal customers an exciting buy one get one free offer. The Bogof deal is available from 12 pm to 6 pm in both the store and the mobile app.�

The offers do apply to any handcrafted beverage but customers are urged to try one of the new spring concoctions. 

The spring collection

The spring collection was unveiled at the start of the month after Starbucks kept the prospect of their new drinks very hush-hush. Besides the shiny new merchandise lines, they also launched two new lavender-based drinks.�

Patrick Penny, Starbucks beverage developer, said: Lavender is the perfect flavor to transition us from the winter season into spring. Its soft sweetness, light floral notes, and beautiful color ignite feelings of rejuvenation and awakening associated with the change of seasons.

On the iced matcha drink, Penny explained: When creating the new Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, we wanted to capture the uplifting energy of spring in a cup. The vibrant green matcha topped with lavender-hued cold foam delivers a delightfully colorful and unexpectedly delicious flavor combination.

Next, the brand also released a lavender iced latte, which Penny described as a balanced, delicious beverage.
