Roe v Bros ‘gameshow’ suggests most men know nothing about womens bodies

As women fight for the basic right of bodily autonomy, men are struggling to answer even the most basic questions about a woman’s body.

Men and women have very different bodies with their own intricate mechanisms, from women being less hungry after a workout, to how red wine has a different effect on the sexes.

Men know next to nothing about a woman’s body

Roe V Bros (@roevbros) is an internet game that sees the host question everyday men about their knowledge of the female body. As you might expect, it’s either highlighted a clear gap in the American education system or shed light on the willful ignorance of men.

Female reproductive health was a major talking point in the American Presidential election, particularly since the landmark Roe V Wade ruling was overturned in June 2022. Earlier, women complained that rats had more autonomy than them.

In an October edition to the series posted before the election, men were asked one very simple question: “Can you pee with a tampon in?”

While one man said it’s “not recommended”, another argued that’s what the trash cans are for in women’s bathrooms. It should go without saying, and it’s clear women know this already, but for men reading this – it’s two different holes.

The following question was “Why are there different sizes of tampons?”, to which many claimed was due to different-sized vaginas. In reality, it’s because of different menstrual flows, with light holding 3 milliliters of blood and so on.

Shockingly, many men also believed that a woman only needed a single tampon for their entire menstrual cycle. Though this would undoubtedly be cheaper in the long run, not regularly changing your tampon can result in toxic shock syndrome.

Do better, men.

People have some theories about why men are so uneducated

Women quite literally change their routines because of men, so you’d think the least they can do is to learn a little about the female anatomy. TikTok users had some theories about why some men seem blissfully unaware of basic biology.

“Either they failed sex ed., never took sex ed., never lived with a woman, never been with a woman or all of the above,” one person suggested.

“This is why men should not govern womens bodies regardless of if its about abortions or contraceptives or anything really. This is scary,” another said, while a third added, “Loool they can’t be this dense, this is basically knowledge. I know their biology maybe even better than them.”
