The dating reality check calculator explained and how to use it

The dating reality check calculator determines the likeliness of meeting the partner of your dreams. Hate to break it to you, but chances are, it’s time to lower your standards.

Most people are on the hunt to find the love of their life, though sometimes it seems it’s going to be impossible after back-to-back failed dates and rocky relationships.

Although online dating is the most efficient way to meet others, it’s known that males have a harder time on apps than females, so does this mean that women’s standards are way too high?

If you feel like your perfect partner doesn’t exist, maybe it’s time to see how many eligible “fish” there are in the sea.

Is the dating reality check calculator a wake-up call?

A now-deleted post on r/Tinder has gone viral after a 21-year-old female Redditor uploaded her dating calculator results.

With requirements of unmarried males aged 31 – 49, who are at least 5ft 8 in, not obese, and an income of a minimum of $50,000, the user discovered that only 5.3% of the US male population were eligible.

Considering their personalities have to match, the real figure is likely much lower.

The comments raise a good point that the percentage is low since many men who are in that age range are most likely to be married, while they claim it’s uncommon for a 31-year-old male to earn as much as $50k.

Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics reveal that in 2019, the median wage for men aged 25 – 34 was $46,436 annually.

How to use the dating reality check calculator

If you’re a female, visit the Female Delusion Calculator website with the appropriately-named URL igotstandardsbro.com.

Simply enter in your age, race, height, and income preferences and your results will be generated as a percentage, as well as a delusion score measured on a cat lady scale. Five cat litters imply you’re going to be a “lonely cat lady”.

Males can also check out their score via the male reality calculator, although interestingly, it’s not presented as a male “delusion scale”. Results are concluded as red pills, with one red pill implying that the user is “easy to please”, while five equals “you don’t belong on this planet”.
