Popeyes testing new Crispy Chicken Dippers in select locations
Popeyes has just launched a brand new menu item, Crispy Chicken Dippers, but they are only available in some locations.
Forget chicken nuggets or drumsticks, these are a new kind of tender that are so crispy you’ll definitely be going back for more.
Popeyes’ new Crispy Chicken Dippers
Popeyes’ Crispy Chicken Dippers appear to be a test item which is only available at some restaurants across the US. The fast food chain always tests new releases in a few locations to see if they are popular before rolling them out nationwide.
They feature thin strips of all-white breast meat battered and breaded in their signature Louisiana herbs and spices, a spokesperson for Popeyes told Instagram foodie Snackolator.
The tenders are served with your choice of dipping sauce. So, you can choose between Classic Buttermilk Ranch, BBQ, Bayou Buffalo, Honey Mustard, Sweet Heat, Mardi Gras Mustard, Tartar and Blackened Ranch.

I know what you’re thinking – but Popeyes already does tenders? Yes, but these are a thinner version with more crispy batter, the perfect side order to accompany your Chicken Sandwich. From the picture shared by Snackolator, it looks like you get eight in a portion.
Right now, it’s not clear exactly where the item is being tested. View your local restaurant’s menu online to see if the Crispy Chicken Dippers are available where you are.
‘Oh yes they look good’
On Instagram, people are really excited about the new release.
One person wrote: “Ill definitely be buying these and giving them a try.”
“Oh yes they look good, make them USA nationwide,” said another.

Others think they are a bit unnecessary, seeing as the chain already does tenders. The only way to find out if they are worth it is to taste them!
