Popeyes fish sandwich returns alongside more fan-favorite seafood dishes for Lent

Just in time for Lent 2024, Popeyes has brought back its popular fish sandwich in addition to a few more seafood items that are hard to resist.

The fast-food restaurant launches its special menu for a limited period every year so customers can enjoy seafood items and other non-meat substitutes during the fasting period.

You can head to your nearest Popeyes outlet now to grab your favorite fish sandwich.

The signature dish has returned for the fourth time on demand as fast-food lovers can’t get enough of its taste.

The fish sandwich is prepared by marinating flounder in Popeyes’ classic herbs and spices, covered with a crispy coating, and fried until golden brown. It’s served between brioche buns and topped with barrel-cured pickles and tartar sauce.

You can order the classic or spicy Alaskan fish filet sandwich for $5.99. You can include a regular side and a small drink for $9.99.

Another item returning this year is the Shrimp Tackle Box. The combo includes eight butterfly shrimps, one regular side, a biscuit, and a tartar sauce starting at $5.99.

If you aren’t observing the fast and wish to include Popeye’s classic chicken item in the combo, you can swap four butterfly shrimps for two chicken tenders.
