Police recruit screams in agony as she’s tasered in painful training tutorial

Footage of a training exercise for would-be police officers has gone viral as one woman screamed in agony after being tasered.

TikTok algorithms are, in a way, like crystal balls offering you the chance to see videos you didnt realize youd enjoy. As of late, a series from a law enforcement academy has acted as a cathartic experience for some as they watched various recruits being tasered.

The police recruits were tasered in the back

Over the last few weeks, the Missouri Jefferson College Law Enforcement Academy (JCLA) has been posting TikToks of their recruits being tasered. Presumably, this is for educational purposes.

In one particular video, which accumulated over 1.2 million likes and a whopping 26.1 million views, a young blonde woman is held by two officers as a female officer tasered her from behind.

The following scream was felt for miles, with one TikTok user saying she would definitely pass for Monsters Inc. scream tank.

The JCLA provides training for both hopeful and existing police officers and has pretty much a glowing pass rate of 100%.

Though the exact reason behind the exercise is unknown, retired officer Tim explained on Quora that its down to a number of reasons.

Riding the lightning gives officers confidence in the device. When they find out they are truly immobilized by the Taser, theyll have a better idea of when and how to use it, he said. When officers have experienced the Taser, it makes use of it more defensible in court. There are no permanent ill effects, something an officer under cross-examination would not be able to state with confidence had they not had the experience.

He also noted how officers can better understand when certain force options are needed, as they have experienced the effect of them.

TikTok is loving the series

The videos have gone down a treat with TikTok users, many of whom shared witty puns in the comments while also questioning if the woman was okay.

One person wrote: I need to know if its really that bad without finding out for myself.

Its the scream growing quieter as if she was falling a distance thats got me, another person wrote.

A third said: @Wavy. My toxic trait is thinking I could do this and not even make a face.
