For instance, 30% of adults said they would want a card, compared to just 10% that wanted tickets for a holiday or concert. Though the thought is always the most important aspect of gift giving, there are definitely nos that could result in a grumpy partner, or worse, being single on February 15. Naturally, people tend to turn to social media when they have a gripe, and Valentines Day gifts are no exception.

If you ever fail at buying gifts on Valentine’s Day, then its important to give it another go. After all, youre fighting for the affection of your significant other.
Once I ordered my girlfriend flowers that didn’t arrive (or were stolen from the porch), so I gave her the delivery confirmation instead. It was not as funny as I thought it would be, admitted one guy, to which someone rightly pointed out, Hey, the flowers will wither in mere days. The delivery confirmation will stay intact for years.
