People are just discovering that you can order a birthday sheet cake at McDonalds

Fans of McDonald’s are only recently discovering that their favorite restaurant allows customers to purchase a massive birthday sheet cake.

While the Starbucks secret menu is fairly common knowledge, customers are only starting to realize that most other restaurants have their own version. The McDonald’s secret menu, which also includes dishes like the Monster Mac, is covertly harboring a tasty sheet cake for as little as $5.

Who knew about the McDonald’s secret menu?

The cakes are said to come in both vanilla and chocolate flavors with an image of the brand’s mascot, Ronald McDonald, visible on the front. Unfortunately, tasting the cake might be more difficult than simply strolling up to your local Maccies.

You see, not all of the brand’s 13k restaurants carry the cakes and they are said to be priced between $5 and $20 depending on location.

TikToker Lourdes Perez (@louslous.cocina) was lucky enough to try the cake last year when she pulled up to the drive-thru window. She managed to pay just $5.30 for her McDonald’s birthday sheet cake!

“So here’s our cake, it’s like half a sheet at 10 by 13 inches. They only had it frozen,” she told her followers whilst noting it feeds up to 25 people. “I just never thought we’d find the McDonald’s birthday cake. It’s even decorated.”

The verdict is pretty good

After digging into the McDonald’s birthday sheet cake, she added: “This is the moment of truth, let’s taste it. It’s pretty good, it tastes like an Oreo.”

Lourdes’ followers were shocked by her purchase as many admitted to never having heard of the McDonald’s birthday sheet cake.

One person wrote: “Since when? Never heard of that. California.”

“Hopefully their at my local McDonalds and does it have to be in drive thru or can we go inside and get it??” another person questioned, to which Lourdes responded, “I went thru drive in.”

A third added: “Mine probably doesnt we have havent had the ice cream machine working for 5 plus years.”
