When are PAX East 2022 tickets released?

The official PAX Twitter has not tweeted much information about the event, so thank goodness for unofficial accounts.

PAXEastNews have only announced that tickets will be going on sale “at some point” on Tuesday 14 December.

However, the exact time is slated to be 12 pm PT / 3 pm ET.

You can purchase the badges through the official PAX website here.

Tip: arrive at the site at least five minutes before release time and ensure your payment details are ready so no time is wasted – tickets going to fly off the virtual shelves.

How much are badges?

Like Comic-Con, badges can be purchased for single days, as well as for the entire weekend.

Expect to see single-day tickets costing around $60 and four-day badges costing $225.

If you’re staying the night in Boston, we recommend you book a hotel as soon as possible since hotel prices are rising, according to one fan.

Better yet, split the cost with friends and gaming mutuals.

Cue the gifs

Twitter loves a good gif, and even more so, the gaming community are definitely fans of gifs and memes.

That explains why the #PaxEast2022 is filled with gifs of excitement, and to be honest, we’re here for it.

Take a look at some of our favourite reaction tweets to the confirmation of the event.

We’ll be the animal face-smashing the keyboard to churn out as much work as possible ahead of payday:
