Oreo’s new ‘Space Dunk’ cookies have landed but only for a limited time
Oreo has just released a brand new galaxy-inspired edition called ‘Space Dunk’ and it’s just as cool as it sounds.
The cookie giant launched the new flavor back in January, but it’s finally arrived in many stores across the US this week.
Oreo’s ‘Space Dunk’ cookies
Each chocolate wafter cookie is stuffed with two layers of blue and pink marshmallow-flavored “cosmic creme,” and popping candies that create a “supernova bursting sensation with each bite,” Oreo said in a press release.
They all feature one of five galactic embossments on the top, including a Telescope, Astronaut, Stargaze, Shooting Star and Rocket. Plus, there’s a small cut-out in the centre of the cookie itself, so the bright pink creme peeks through.
“These space-inspired Oreo cookies will make a great addition to your space-themed parties, space birthday celebrations, as stellar sweet treats during movie night or for simply enjoying as home or office snacks,” the website says.
They are getting great reviews online, with one person writing on Twitter/X: “SPACE DUNK OREOS ARE SO GOOD!”
“The Oreo Space Dunk is something special. The cream is so smooth and the tiny pop rocks are delightful,” said another.
Where to buy the new Oreos
The new Oreo cookies are available right now across the United States at all the places that usually sell Oreos.
They haven’t released an official list of stores, but you’ll find them at loads of retailers including Walmart and Target.
You can also order a pack online on the official Oreo Space Dunk website, but they’re out of stock right now.
Be quick though, because the cookie chain has said the Oreos are “limited edition” – so they won’t be around for long.
