One ‘heavenly’ thing America has which Brit is really jealous of
A British man has gone viral on TikTok after revealing something that Americans have which he’s really jealous of.
Josh has more than 4.6 million followers and shares videos comparing the differences between the two countries.

“America you have been gatekeeping something from me,” he said in the viral video. “I’m a Brit in America and there’s one thing in America that’s the best, and Americans don’t speak about it because they don’t want to give it away.”
The guy then revealed that the incredible thing is… crushed ice! They serve drinks with crushed ice everywhere across the US, but in the UK it’s really difficult to find and only a select few restaurants have it.
“Crushed ice is the greatest thing to come out of America since Dolly Parton,” the TikTok user joked. “Crushed ice is straight from heaven. It has been dropped from the pearly gates. Crushed ice is life. It is life.”
Americans are shocked
In the comments, people across the US are shocked as they didn’t realise crushed ice wasn’t a thing across the pond.
One person wrote: “I had no idea crushed ice was an American thing. I thought everyone had it.”
“Today I learned that Britain doesn’t have crushed ice,” said another.
A third person added: “I had no clue it was an American thing.”
Others are telling him to go to the fast-food chain Sonic because they have the “best ice”. Also known as ‘nugget ice’ or ‘chewable ice,’ it’s made of�layers of flaked ice frozen together, creating air pockets in the pellets which makes it extra chewy.
“Wait till he finds out about sonic ice,” someone else wrote.
Another agreed: “Nugget ice is THE BEST though. From Sonic.”
Brit tries ‘elite’ Sonic ice
Just as everyone asked, Josh went to Sonic, ordered a Dr Pepper with ice and tried the “game changer” on camera.
“This has been one of the number one more recommended places I go to. This is meant to be the best place for ice in America,” he said.
The TikTok user took a big sip of the soda, munched some of the ice and gasped in delight, calling it “elite”.
He also ordered a huge bag of the ice to take away with him, and people are recommending he tries it with sweet tea.
