A labor and delivery nurse has revealed the most shocking things shes heard baby dads say during delivery. 

Anna Pascarella has given a lesson in what not to say when your wife is birthing your child. The nurse left TikTok users in shock after sharing her experience of witnessing some husbands say extremely ill-timed things. 

On TikTok, Pascarella has over 1.2 million followers. Her latest hit on the social media app has left 4.3 million viewers viewers somewhat disturbed.

These are the most shocking things husbands say during childbirth

Pascarella listed 13 quotes she remembers husbands saying during childbirth, from asking for extra stitches to complaining about an uncomfortable sofa. 

  • Does it really hurt that bad?
  • Thats never going to look the same again.
  • So, how do we go about getting a paternity test? The nurse said she heard this one while the mother was in the stirrup and actively pushing.
  • No, no, no! She doesnt need anything for pain.
  • When do you think shell have the baby? Because Im really hungry and need to go grab some food. 
  • Why is it taking so long?
  • Yawn&my back hurts so much from sleeping on that chair. This was heard while the wifes epidural was working only on one side.
  • Are you really trying your hardest?
  • Can you be a little more quiet? Youre being too loud.
  • I cant hold your hand right now, I need to take this call. Ill be right back.
  • Im not going to hold her leg.
  • Can you put in an extra stitch for me? 
  • It shouldnt be that hard.

TikTok slammed the husbands

Unsurprisingly, TikTok came out fighting against the anonymous husbands who said such ridiculous things while their wives were mid-child birth. 

The divorce lawyer would be standing next to me within an hour, wrote one user. 

Divorce, divorce, divorce, commented another.

Another wrote: I would rather be single.

One comment joked: I would be on the news.

Thats not the worst part

In a further twist, Pascarella shared in a comment one situation that might just be far worse.

So here is a shocking story, I had one dad ask me if I wanted to hang out sometime. Want a story time on that? Its literally insane, the nurse commented.
